 Where Opposites Exist (part 2)

Friday I said - I have concluded that nothing is a whole and if we could reveal the other half of the whole, THAT would really be SOMETHING!
In response June said -
Grandpa John - why would the 'not unrevealed half of the whole nothing' show something if the 'first half of the whole nothing' revealed nothing? June (inquiring minds would really like an answer of solid fact )
The solution -
Look, if the upper half of nothing is a nothing, then nothing it will be
It’s like watching gusts of winds waving to the sea
But crawl through the whole top half of nothing just for fun
Then your journey towards reaching something will have only just begun
It’s a real task to add nothing to a nothing and expect to complete an image
It’d be easier to suit up the bleachers and get them ready for the scrimmage
But there’s got to be a something touching nothing for opposites to exist
So something’s hiding under nothing so add that to your list!

 Where Opposites Exist

It’s probably pretty easy for you to remember the last time I wrote about nothing isn’t it? Well, I want to do it again!
I have concluded that nothing is a whole and if we could reveal the other half of the whole, THAT would really be SOMETHING! Or not?

 Making A Sour Ordinary

A quick mix that makes one sour ordinary
A cup and ½ of unsweetened familiar
A pinch of ripe memory from a neglected container
A spoonful of tart image borrowed from the Jones’
Seriously blend a hint into a whisper and spread generously
Add a roll of frustration and leave the irritation lumps in it
Put a nightcap on the mix and shake the sugar out of it!
Are you ready for the final touch?
I think you can lick this thing if you wrap it up properly.

An Update On Shoestring (Aug 30 post)

These are imaginary trades with owner’s commitment to get rid of merchandise offered for trading. Grandpa John started with a pair of shoestrings.
azron’s 10yr old box of magazines traded for Grandpa John’s shoestrings -
n. lynn’s10 month old box of magazines traded for Azron 10yr old box of magazines
June’s Box of yarn traded for n.lynn’s 10 month old box of magazines
Grandpa John’s Z-Coil Shoes traded for June’s Box of yarn
And June says, “now those gently used coil shoes may be just the walking shoes I will need for the next two weeks in Greece and Turkey”
Ok you traders, tell us what you did with your imaginary trade-ins. Remember we all committed to dispose of the merchandise offered for trade to enable this imaginary trading to jumpstart our downsizing process.
My shoestrings went into a collection box I have started to donate to our local Etcetera Shop and my Z-coil shoes are presently listed on ebay.
Meanwhile, I'll keep coaxing my treadmill powered scooter uphill!
