Private Time Reflections

 Point of Interest

Today, I invite you to walk beside me as we enter an experience. The invitation reads, “We will meet in Fellowship Hall, please bring finger food and a sample of your favorite hobby to share.” As we step into this experience, we notice that together we total around twenty to thirty attendees with food to share and favorite projects in hand. We soon satisfy our hunger pangs for food, but our hunger to share our hobby spreads itself across empty tabletops throughout Fellowship Hall. Our desire to share a bit of ourselves continuously grows as we anxiously await our turn. Finally, our turn to share comes and almost too quickly it leaves again, proudly dressed in applause. By the time the last hobby has been shared, it becomes quiet obvious that there was one single exhibit that grabbed everybody’s interest far above and beyond any others shared. That single exhibit is the one they themselves brought to share! So, now what?
When all the cleanup has been done, all that’ll be left will be a little food for thought.

 Monotony Divided

Yes, I've written verse for the whole series, "If Only I Could Be The Quilter's - needle. thread. fabric and quilt. I've decided to give you all a break and divide the monotony a bit. So, today I just want to share my feelings as a result of that, being owned by the quilter, thought process. By the end of the last verse, it made me feel like my being satisfied wasn't! As though really beinig satisfied is something very fragile and temporary in most cases. Any thughts?
Just one more thing. I was checking out potentinal book publishing companies when I ran across the one that claims to have a wider worldwide distribution network. I think I spotted a clever!

 The Quilter’s Thread

If I could only be the thread selected
Expelling all doubt, be the chosen one
To hold all intricate pieces together
Forever beyond all setting suns

I come from a long and colorful collection
When spooling around my family connection
The quilter could use my handsome reflection
Stitching breath taking beauty in every direction

I’d follow the footprints of quilter’s needle
He’d lead me to and fro
And through his nimble flexibility
He’d show me where to sew
And finally
My tiny steps nearly bumping perfection
As through each piece I’d rise and fall
I’d be the major show in the masterpiece
a quilter so proudly hangs up on the wall!

 The Quilter’s Needle

If I could only be the quilter’s needle
I think therein lies my niche
The quilter’s glowing love
Would flow through me with each stitch

She’d gently push old thimble
To help me drive my point
And together we’d sew together carefully
Each perfect looking joint

Her tender fingers caressingly
would support some skills I lack
I can’t see where I’m going
‘cause, my eye is in the back
And finally
Savoring the beauty of our masterpiece
I’d be tempted to shout with glee
It could never have been possible
Without both her and me!

 An Embarrassing Truth!

When it’s your turn to take a “P”

You could easily reduce the status of the President
