Today, I invite you to walk beside me as we enter an experience. The invitation reads, “We will meet in Fellowship Hall, please bring finger food and a sample of your favorite hobby to share.” As we step into this experience, we notice that together we total around twenty to thirty attendees with food to share and favorite projects in hand. We soon satisfy our hunger pangs for food, but our hunger to share our hobby spreads itself across empty tabletops throughout Fellowship Hall. Our desire to share a bit of ourselves continuously grows as we anxiously await our turn. Finally, our turn to share comes and almost too quickly it leaves again, proudly dressed in applause. By the time the last hobby has been shared, it becomes quiet obvious that there was one single exhibit that grabbed everybody’s interest far above and beyond any others shared. That single exhibit is the one they themselves brought to share! So, now what? When all the cleanup has been done, all that’ll be left will be a little food for thought.
